2016: An exceptional edition for the European Cup - Selection event for the ‘Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie’

The European Cup will take place during Sirha Genève on 24 January.
‘This second edition of the European Cup will feature a splendid cast with an exceptional mix of culinary cultures and pastry expertise worthy of the international standing of this event that promises to be excellent', Gabriel Paillasson, President founder of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie.

 

Belgium wins the European Cup 2016

The Belgian team, composed of Nicolas Arnaud (sugar) and Mathieu Dierinck (chocolate) wins the title of European Pastry Champion after a high level competition day during Sirha Genève trade show. Belgium, Denmark (2nd) and Sweden (3rd) are qualified for the Grand Final of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, that will take place during Sirha Lyon, France from the 22nd to the 23rd January 2017. They will be joined by Switzerland, who wins a Wild Card thanks to its 4th place.

SWEDEN WINS THE EUROPEAN PASTRY CUP IN TORINO

 In the country of the 2015 World Champion, the European selection of theCoupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie crowns Sweden.

and Jessica Sandberg convinced the jury after 5 hours of spectacular competition on June 10th 2018, in the Oval Lingotto Fiere of Torino, Italy.

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie has decided to adopt a new visual identity that will be presented in 4 different versions for the national and continental selection events and for the finale of the contest.
