THE SALON DU CHOCOLAT PROFESSIONNEL TAKES ON A NEW DIMENSION
- New hall and a doubling of exhibition area:
The Salon du Chocolat Professionnel is moving to Pavilion 4 at Porte de Versailles, opposite Pavilion 5, in which will be held the Salon du Chocolat Consumer Show, and is doubling its surface area, increasing from 5,000m² to 12,000m².This means that the Mondial du Chocolat et du Cacao 2013 will be even bigger, covering a total surface area of 33,000m².
- Opening days:
The Salon will be open from Monday to Wednesday for a better availability of craftsmen.
- A new BtoB space:
Exhibitors at the Salon du Chocolat Professionnel will have at their disposal a new BtoB area called “The Lounge” for their business meetings.
THE SALON DU CHOCOLAT
Hosted in Gerona and Santiago de Compostela by Jaume von Arend and Pep Palau on the theme of the creativity of Catalan chefs, Fòrum Gastronòmic is a benchmark event in the hotel and catering sector. It has become a key international platform for professionals, attracting the world’s finest chefs and the talents of the future.
For the first time, the Salon du Chocolat Professionnel with Fòrum Gastronòmic will feature:
- an exceptional program of recipe demonstrations by iconic international chefs and the new generation of young chefs. Seats 200.
- a “Private workshop” area run by exceptional chefs, for an out-of-the-ordinary chocolate experience with exclusive tastings. Seats 70.
WORLD CHOCOLATE MASTERS
The Salon will welcome the Finals of the World Chocolate Masters, the greatest international competition for chocolatiers and pastry chefs, organized by the gourmet brands Callebaut, Cacao Barry and Carma.
INTERNATIONAL COCOA AWARDS
