This is the universe that the guests of the international exhibition for bread, pastry products and confectionery, raw materials, machinery, equipment and technologies Bulpek are about to sense. The event is going to take place in Inter Expo Center in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 8th to 11th November, along with the international exhibitions in the food and on-trade sector: Meatmania, The World of Milk, Salon de Vin, Interfood & Drink and Sihre. This year, they are going to host over 450 participants from all over the world, 150 of which will be visiting for the first time. More than 80 foreign companies will participate.
Chocolate and wine
The Chocolate and Wine presentation, organised by the National Branch Union of Bakers and Confectioners and the National Vine and Wine Chamber attracts professionals from the sector.
In the mysterious steps of chocolate and wine: letting the audience into the secrets of the enigmatic combination of chocolate and wine. What is “Terroir”? Matching the multi-layered and specific characters of chocolate made of cocoa beans from different parts of the world with Bulgarian wine.
While presenting their proposals the exhibitors promise that every visitor will find a solution for their taste. White wine lovers will find breads to match their favourite drink in unique ways. Explorers and lovers of new tastes will find many tempting and sweet offers.
Everything for confectioners in one place
Bulpek is a beloved destination of all fans and professionals in the field of confectionery. The exhibition is a preferred location for business, providing the opportunity to meet producers, distributors, and customers.
In addition, confectionery chefs can find everything they need to create masterpieces that enchant the senses. Professionals will find inspiration for the attractive presentation of their confectionery among the many tools, sculpture and chocolate moulds, machinery, accessories, and cake decorations.
Bulpek 2017 and the exhibitions to take place in parallel will become the stage of a dynamic supplementary programme. Among these events are the national qualifications for the most prestigious professional cook competition, Bocuse d’Or, and the culinary event GastronomiX, organised by the Bulgarian Association of Professional Cooks. Visitors will also have the opportunity to observe the International Pizza Championship.
